Holly Even Lies In Her Sleep

Under deep hypnosis to discover if she was the Queen of Egypt in a past life - or a character out of a Jacqueline Susan novel - HollytheLiar lies.

She confessed to Mr. Oaf over a beer yesterday that in a past life regression she had recently she was so bored that she made up stuff just to satisfy the hypnotist lady.

“You’re in a house – you see a table – there’s something on the table… what is it?” asked the hypnotist.

“Um, documents,” Holly said.

“Oh, and what’s written on the documents?”

“Well, er.. they’re in a foreign language…”

You’ve heard of the saying “she's so crooked she can’t he even lie straight in bed”?

Bird Jumps Up and Down

The Sulphur Crested Cockatoo is described at Birdworld as a “large conspicuous white cockatoo with a yellow crest frequently raised in alarm or display”.

Teddy suspects that the raising of wings and plumage is 99 per cent to do with “display” rather than alarm. These birds are big and could carry off a small person or perhaps a duck or bear if the mood ever took them. (Luckily, they prefer nuts and fruits).

Mr. Oaf and Teddy were observing a solo Cockatoo this morning when, for no apparent reason, the bird started squawking and bouncing up and down on its branch and then started making odd noises.

“What do you suppose it wants?” asked Mr. Oaf.

“I think it’s saying ‘look at me’,” said Teddy.

“What odd behaviour.”

“Not really,” said Teddy, “Have a look at that.”

Mr. Oaf noticed Nesbitt moving around in the living room, wearing his red jumper sans pants.

“I see, “ said Mr. Oaf.

“This diary cracked me up, completely, perhaps the oddest diary I have ever read. I'm not sure if it's a takeoff on something or someone that I have somehow missed. Regardless, TEZNEZCO! chronicles the adventures of two bears and describe them as if they are a minority of some sort. The writing is disturbingly matter-of-fact as if it is perfectly normal to be writing about these bears as people. I like it; it's pleasantly novel" - Diaryreview
