Teddy Once Had an Adventure in A Bank

It’s a stirring true tale of bravery and derring-do, not to mention perseverance and more than just a little gumption; it’s the story of Teddy in the bank. One day, when Teddy had a cheque to deposit, he went into his local branch and started to fill out a deposit slip. Suddenly, and without warning, the ink in the bank-supplied pen ran dry. He tried scribbling on the back of another deposit slip and only managed a few faint lines before the pen gave up completely. The next pen casing was still attached to its chain but the inside of the pen was missing. Undeterred, he went to the last stall and discovered that there was just a chain and no pen at all. Instead of giving up, and showing his true mettle, Teddy stood in line for the Inquiries Window. There were a few people there, asking questions and so on, but after about 7 minutes Teddy got to the window and pointed out that the pen situation was bad. Luckily, the bank had spare pens that allowed Teddy to fill out his deposit slip. To show that there were no hard feelings, and that the small bear was a valued customer, the bank let Teddy keep the pen.

“This diary cracked me up, completely, perhaps the oddest diary I have ever read. I'm not sure if it's a takeoff on something or someone that I have somehow missed. Regardless, TEZNEZCO! chronicles the adventures of two bears and describe them as if they are a minority of some sort. The writing is disturbingly matter-of-fact as if it is perfectly normal to be writing about these bears as people. I like it; it's pleasantly novel" - Diaryreview
