Nesbitt-Web

"You know," said Nesbitt, "I have always liked this picture of me the best. It captures my red jumper very well, and the perkiness of my ears."

"Yes," said Teddy looking in a cupboard.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm looking for the cordless drill required by Mrs. Oaf , or there will be trouble - but all I can find are Dust Bunnies."

"But look at my jumper!!"

Just then, Penguin went past the door with a tray with cups of tea and biscuits.

"Anyone for a nice cup of tea?" he asked.

"Yes," said Teddy and Nesbitt in unison.

The three friends sat and drank their tea, Nesbitt carefully blowing on the surface of his mug.

"Does anyone remember what the big exciting announcement was going to be?" asked Penguin.

Nesbitt nodded while Teddy cleared his throat.

"What is it Teddy?" asked Penguin.

"The announcement had to do with an exciting new publishing opportunity which may still reap untold wealth and riches."

"Still may?" mused Penguin.

"Yes" said Teddy, placing his tea mug firmly on his desk. "So we'd best not queer the deal by mentioning Jacqui Khiu's hair or something, or going off on some mad rave, possibly offending people..."

"There are such people?" asked Nesbitt.

"Pfft," said Teddy. "We are, and will remain, hugely popular... Now I must go back to finding that drill or there will be trouble."

“This diary cracked me up, completely, perhaps the oddest diary I have ever read. I'm not sure if it's a takeoff on something or someone that I have somehow missed. Regardless, TEZNEZCO! chronicles the adventures of two bears and describe them as if they are a minority of some sort. The writing is disturbingly matter-of-fact as if it is perfectly normal to be writing about these bears as people. I like it; it's pleasantly novel" - Diaryreview
